Great American Insurance

Experiential graphic design

BHDP and Great American Insurance partnered up in efforts to define the next Great Workplace. With a major remodel of the Tower and Dixie Terminal in downtown Cincinnati, the BHDP team is activating the workplace by injecting energy, color, and graphics to create a space that reflects the vibrant and diverse employees who work at Great American Insurance. Here we create intersections of the past and future, hard and soft, loud and quiet, geometric and organic to support the Workplace of the Future and how today’s employees will carry GAI legacy into the future.

Wayfinding

A neighborhood wayfinding strategy was established through axon views of the space to determine sight-lines and best practices for corridor activations and perimeter column activations, in addition to room signage and supporting graphics. The strategy helped us create a quadrant neighborhood approach named after popular landmarks in Cincinnati including Music Hall, Fountain Square, Roebling Bridge, Riverboat, and Findlay Market. We developed an icon system and color palette to help define these neighborhoods.
